Shelving Solutions

Open shelving typically holds more than twice as much material in the same amount of space required by traditional drawer cabinets.

If enough space is available to accommodate open shelving and extremely rapid retrieval is not necessary, open shelving is typically the best storage option.

There are several different types of Open Shelving including:

  • 4-Post Shelving - Efficient, low cost shelving for many applications and materials.
  • Cantilever Shelving - Greater shelf capacity and visibility than other systems. Investment is greater.
  • Stack-Box/Stackable/Box Shelving - Can grow as your storage needs grow. Shelves have low clearances making it ideal for projects where every inch of space counts.

While buying the quality and type of shelving that meets your needs is critical, selecting a company that can analyze your needs and design a system that will meet those needs now and in the future is equally as important. An accurate and efficiently designed system; quality, timely installation; training; and the availability of service if it might be needed, is essential.

Modular Filing systems provide the most efficient manner of filing while maximizing floor space. Modular filing systems consist of posts and rails that snap together to fit any area. Plastic file boxes hang on the rails to form a modular shelf, making file shifting easy. Modular filing saves space by going higher than traditional filing equipment.

Seven levels of active filing are in easy reach, with just one section taking about the same floor space as a 4 drawer rollout cabinet but holds three and a half times as much information.
